Our love for Fly Fish Guanaja started a few years back now but, every time we get the chance to go back we see more and more how special this island is! The fishery is fantastic and I know that as anglers that is the first thing we think of but what really makes this trip special is the people you get to meet and know while you’re there. From the guides you spend hours on the boat with to the friendly faces you see when you get back to the lodge it seems everyone you meet makes you feel so welcome  that you can’t help but yearn for the next time you can come back to this magical place.  A week is a great start but you’re going to be planning your next trip before we leave the airport in Roatan on your way home!

The crew we had on this trip was fantastic and there is nothing better than sharing great places with great people. In my experience Guanaja is never short on fish to cast at and there’s always a cold Salva Vida for then the fishing is done. To Dan, Tyler, Evan, Darin, and Jerry thank you so much for making the trip with us and I can’t wait for the next one!

Now here are a few of the shots we came back with;
