The Yampa has been the same ol same old this spring (in a good way.) Fishing has been consistently good with the usual crowds.
Nymphing with midges and small baetis will yeild the most fish.
I would strongly encourage a lot of fishermen to try dry fly fishing on the Yampa right now. Almost any size 16 and smaller dry fly with a good presentation will yeild fish. Look for risers from mid morning on in the side channels and in front of rocks.

It’s time to nail down your 2024 fly fishing trip with Minturn Anglers.
