They say ‘Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life’. I’d like to say that’s held the groundwork for me.

My journey with fly fishing began as a young boy when my father and grandpa introduced me at the age of 3, which lead to years of trips all over the Midwest. This drive eventually brought me out to Colorado to pursue fly fishing as a career, which has now lead to the 2023 season being my eighth year with Minturn Anglers.

I spend June through September, in search of the best trout fishing the Eagle, Colorado, and Roaring Fork river has to offer. In the fall if I’m not on the river, I’ll be found up on the mountain looking for elk and mule deer in between fishing trips. I get back to my home waters of Michigan periodically throughout the winter to chase steelhead and trout and late winter and spring months are spent down in Mexico guiding Coues deer & Goulds turkey hunts.
